Was created on April 1, 2012, to:
- Provide a more independent management structure for Kaneka business operations in North and South America
- Provide management and structural support for growth of the business portfolio.
- Create consistent policies and services for the group companies in general areas such as compliance, governance, legal support, etc.
Kaneka North America LLC
A subsidiary of Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc was created on April 1, 2012, by the merger of Kaneka Texas Corporation and Kaneka Nutrients L.P.
Kaneka Texas Corporation (KTC): Founded in 1982 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaneka Corporation, the plant is located southeast of Houston in the Bayport Industry District at 6161 Underwood Road, Pasadena, TX. KTC started manufacturing operations in 1984 making impact modifier, Kane Ace B, for the plastic industry. Major additions to this plant occurred in 1987 and 1993, making it the largest modifier plant in the world.
In 1990 production of polyimide film began at this site. In 2008 KTC began manufacture of CPVC resin and in 2009 the MS Polymer facility began producing the first liquid polymer products at this site.
Kaneka Nutrients L.P.: Since 2006 KNL has been manufacturing an array of unique nutritional ingredients for the supplement and food & beverages industries. Kaneka is the largest manufacturer of CoQ10 in the world, and the only company that manufactures CoQ10 in the U.S. since 1997. It is the primary brand of CoQ10 used in FDA-approved National Institutes of Health-funded clinical trials, and has been used in the vast majority of all other clinical trials over the past 30 years. The facility is located at 6250 Underwood Rd., Pasadena, TX.
Kaneka Medical America LLC
(formally known has Kaneka Pharma LLC)
Kaneka Medical America LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaneka Americas Holdings, Inc. Established in 1997, KMA has a head office in New York, N.Y. with a sales office in Torrance, C.A. KMA is the exclusive distributor in the U.S. and Canada for the extracorporeal LDL-apheresis system, Liposorber, manufactured by Kaneka Corporation. It also markets vascular interventional devices in North & South American countries. In addition, emerging devices in the field of cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and regenerative medicine are under development with the aim of patients’ improved outcome.
Kaneka Aerospace LLC
Kaneka Aerospace LLC is formed through Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc's acquisition of Applied Poleramic, Inc., a formulated advanced resin supplier in the aerospace industry with over 25 years of history. Established in 2017, Kaneka Aerospace went on to acquire Henkel Corporation’s portfolio of benzoxazine based high performance composites business, as well as its AS9100D certification demonstrating its high standard of Quality Management. Located in Benicia, California just outside San Francisco, Kaneka Aerospace is making significant strides towards establishing its presence in the composites industry.
Cemedine North America
Cemedine Automotive North America Co., Ltd, established it’s North America operations in 2013. Cemedine has a 75 year history of manufacturing and selling glues, sealing materials, adhesives, special paints, coating materials, and processed goods based on adhesives. In 2016, Cemedine Automotive North America Co. Ltd, became a subsidiary of Kaneka Corporation and is now Cemedine North America LLC. Cemedine North America is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
