Kane Ace MX - Adhesives
Additives for the Adhesives Industry:
The role of the polymeric matrix in an adhesive application is to form a strong bond between two surfaces. When a bond line breaks, the failure mechanism can often be found to be within the adhesive layer itself (a cohesive failure) and not adherence to either of the two surfaces. Significant improvements in T-Peel, Lap Shear, and Wedge Impact can be achieved through the use of Kane Ace MX.
The strength of an adhesive can be improved using the core shell toughening agents. Employing Kane Ace MX can significantly improve performance properties including:
- Stiffness
- Durability
- Crash Resistance
Kane Ace MX modifiers have been successfully used in both 1 and 2 component systems and are compatible with epoxy resins, acrylic resins and a variety of curing agents.
